About Us
The Beauty Chaperone believes that beauty is a radical declaration of who you are in the world. We aim to help everyday people take the guesswork out of creating their beauty routine by creating customized skincare routines and makeup tutorials. We have spent hundreds of hours combing through products, ingredients and brands to enable us to present solid, effective routines to our clients.
The Beauty Chaperone has been 10 years in the making. Our founder, Kourtney Nicole, has enjoyed a long career as an educator in the beauty retailer space teaching other makeup artists and clients the newest techniques. She is also a Licensed Esthetician. Frequently her clients would say "I wish I could carry you in my pocket because you are so knowledgeable and friendly."
The idea came to fruition when a friend asked her to chaperone her on a shopping trip because she felt that she was purchasing unnecessary products that were not meeting her needs or expectations. From that field trip, The Beauty Chaperone was born.
